Parametric Study on Buckling Behavior of Aluminum Alloy Thin-Walled Lipped Channel Beam with Perforations Subjected to Combined Loading

The objective of the research presented in this paper is to investigate buckling behavior a perforated thin-walled lipped channel beam subjected combined load. A nonlinear finite element method was used analyze beam. Experimental tests were made validate simulation. Three factors with three levels for each factor chosen examine their influence on and these are: shape holes, opening ratio spacing of. elements outcome analyzed by using Taguchi identify best set three-parameter combinations optimum critical analysis variance technique (ANOVA) implemented determine contribution parameter strength. Results showed that mode failure lateral-torsional hexagonal hole shape, =1.7 = 1.3 combination parameters gives results also holes most influential case loading.
